I don't know where a Lilac tree, or bush is around here!

You can collect the dew from the lawn, if you are early in the morning. Maybe it would work if you stood under a favorite tree and shook it (the dew) over you. The trick again is to be early.

My tree was dry too, but I went through the motions anyway. I had an entourage of two cats joining in on my tree hugging. They were watching me with great interest as I was ruffling through the branches. The neighbours must have been wondering what I was doing outside in my dressing gown. Hubbies first day back at work so I was up early too.

Today, I am cleaning up my Altar, I have put all my crystals in a special box. I am simplifying the look and changing the cloth and candles, this will be in anticipation of the Rites to Hekate on the 10th of May. I may paint Hekate's labyrinth on a Black feather, I should have time for that. I think it would be a nice offering to her. I'm also going to keep out all my darkest crystals.

Oh that's sounds good, I believe she will like that. Hecate followers all over the world will be doing that Rite, you will feel that energy for days afterward.

I have been watching the youtube version to get the pronunciation correct, and reading along from my BOS, just to make sure what I have written down matches what is on the video. Every time that I practice, I feel the power, I can't wait for the 10th.
I have almost finished my black feather, I painted the symbol from the Covenant of Hekate web site. The symbol of the Torchbearers. It looks nice. I'm going to add a few more stars to the top part as in the sky and then varnish it.

I don't think so. It would be one of those crazy what not to do videos. I took some photos of my feather though.

I hear ya, I have thought about doing a video of mine to share, the thing would be if I mess up, it would just kill the vibe to start over, so maybe do the Rite, then later when you can prepare and do the video. I don't know, I'm camera shy myself.

I would probably feel funny doing in front of another person never mind a camera. It would be okay if that person was a good friend and fellow witch. You for instance. I have been practicing though, and I will read from my Book of Ouroboros. I have checked the wording to make sure I wrote it down right.

I like watching the u tube videos people share of the Rite. Seems there was a link that was live if you wanted to follow, but now that Magicka's forum is gone I don't have the link, ill bet Michael would have it on his FB page, he does it evert year, She is his Goddess.
