Winter Prosperity Spell

Here is a nice little knot spell that I found on SpellsOfMagic.com
Seeing that Halloween is the witches new year, Monday would be the day to do it.
Supplies.
A piece of ribbon from Yule last year in your favourite color. About 12 inches long. If you are a hoarder like me, you will have some.
A Green Candle
Myrrh Oil
Spell Casting
Rub a few drops of Myrrh oil from end to middle both top and bottom. End to middle. To bring prosperity to you.
Light the candle
Tie nine knots in the ribbon while reciting this rhyme:
"By the count of one, this spell's begun,
By the count of two, prosperity's due,
By the count of three, I'll have no more need,
By the count of four, abundance galore,
By the count of five, this spell's alive,
By the count of six, prosperity's fixed,
By the count of seven, blessings given,
By the count of eight, I seal my fate,
By the count of nine, praise the Goddess divine!"
Pass the ribbon through the smoke from the candle three times. Put the ribbon in a safe place for the next year.
If you need extra strength look at it and meditate on it. Next year make a new one.

That sounds a lot like a knock magic spell, you say the spell as you tie the knocks (did I spell that right )

It is a knot spell, but I have not seen this version written for prosperity. It caught my eye, so I must do it. I have some white ribbon with "Believe" written on it. Seems the perfect ribbon to use. I used it a few Yules ago when I was doing my silver horse shoes. So it should be lucky to use.
The one thing I don't have is myrrh oil, I have myrrh incense, I might buy some if I have time to get to the witch store.

That's what I thought, I may try it later tonight, but ill have to improvise some things, I don't have any ribbon but I have string, Myrrh oil, check, green candle check.

I managed to buy some Myrrh oil this morning before I went walking. I have just enough red ribbon with Believe written on it. I also have white but I like the red better. I just unrolled the ribbon and I have just enough for the spell. Yay! I'm going to burn one of my Palo Santo incenses. It should give my spell a boost. Good luck with your spell crafting!

You can do it at the Full moon. Or Yule. I thought I would do it on the Witches New Year. It was the only magickal thing I did.
