[Ouroboros]

To make a Sigil. Write out your intention, it must be written in a positive note. eg I am healthy, I am lucky, etc.
First you cross out all the vowels a e i o u and sometimes y.
Then with the letters that are left you cross out any letters that are repeated so it only appears once.
With the letters left, combine them in a pleasing way, superimpose them on top of each other.
I usually use a japanese mulberry paper, it burns well , but any paper will do. I try to use a color that will correspond with my workings. To activate the Sigil, you burn it. A sort of set it and forget it spell. It will work.

I taught my girl friend how to do Sigils this weekend. I read her tarot cards too. I'm a little rusty but the outcome was good.

I'm not good at explaining things, at least not if I have to wright it out. I haven't read Tarot in a long time but I still read with the Lenormand deck, I love it.

I have had the same cards for 40 odd years and I still use my book.

Since my memory is not what it use to be I have my book handy too.

Have you ever looked at the Lenormand deck?? It's pretty easy, because the cards (almost always) mean just what you would think. Like the Cross is burdens, the Dog loyalty, the kid means child like, the double stairway means a decision (going one way or another) ect.ect.
I just love them and I can almost remember them all, there are still a few that will throw me. I still want to order his Kipper deck I just haven't had the money, but I know it will just be another deck in the cabinet, so I keep putting it off.

I havent looked at the Lenormand Deck, I really want an oracle deck of some kind. I have not found one I like yet, something celtic if possible.

You need to get that magazine that shows the decks, ive got the Shadow Scapes Oracle its so pretty, I love that deck, I also have the Steampunk deck, well hell I have over a hundred decks, a cabinet full.

I got on a roll for a while and went crazy with Tarot and Oracle decks, I have all of Ciro's except the Kipper. He makes some beautiful decks.

You would love the Lenormand, it's so easy to remember the meanings of the cards. His art is beautiful. I love all his decks.

I think you can only get his decks at his site, and maybe Amazon. His Wife hand sews all the bags and you get one with every deck (Lenormand), they are gorgeous. Dang I cant seem to spell tonight, good thing I have spell check!!

Are you planning anything for the Full Moon, it will be coming up soon. Maybe I will pray for some inspiration.

It will be on the 12th, I should prepare a healing spell. Goddess knows I could use it.
But January is a good time for a road opening spell, the Moon is in Aries, it opens opportunities, and shows you how to make it possible. A life change is needed t find the opportunity.

I just posted the correspondences for the full moon on the Book of Ouroboros. I'm doing a variation of the Fortuna Spell. I want money so I can go to Mexico or anywhere hot.

Back to the 40's but after the weekend it will warm up again. The weather here is usually mild, we can get cold, just seems here lately it doesn't.

I missed the full moon this go around, I'm going to catch the next.

The Full Moon was so bright that the cat was going Bat Crap Crazy. Hubby said he was doing laps of the house in the middle of the night. Once I'm asleep I don't hear anything. I did get up once in the middle of the night and it was brilliantly light for about three nights.

I love the Moon, back in the summer I could sit on my balcony and she was right in front of me, the hills and trees all around, just beautiful.
Wish I could sleep like that, I hear every little noise going.

Talking about the Moon, I need to make some more Moon Stickers for my BOS. A while back I made moon phases on purple card stock, Full to crescent and half moons. I stick them on my Spells to show the Moon Phase, so I can see them at a glance. I'm out of Full Moon ones.

I made a whole bunch of new Moon stickers last night. I used Black cardstock this time and only did Full Moon ones. They seem to be the ones I use most. It is really quick to make them. I have a paper punch that is a scalloped circle about two inches across. Then I just use a round stencil and pounce on the moons with acrylic paint. Real quick!
I made a resolution to do something creative every day no matter how small. On the other hand, I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't do anything at all.

I painted a wishbone from a chicken red with red glitter, cute!!

There you go...Hang it from a piece of red embroidery thread. Red is considered a lucky color in China.
