Solstice 2017

I was going through the Book of Ouroboros and I have a working that I did last year for the solstice. I think I will do something similar this year.
"Today, I lit an orange candle to symbolize the Sun. I thought about how happy I am that Summer is here, how nice and warm it is and how well my garden is growing.
I also did a Sigil with positive personal statements,I am healthy, wealthy, loved, creative etc.
I wrote the sigil on Red Mulberry paper and then burned it with my candle"
"An with good for all, so mote it be."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
To all a blessed litha, enjoy the turning of the wheel. This year a little different because it will be the dark phase of the Moon.

I just seen on the news out in California it's 125 degrees!!! Summer is defiantly here.

I'm going to do a "thankful for life" tonight.

We are not as hot as California, thank goodness. Today here is partially cloudy with a breeze. I had a walk in the park today, no feathers, no Geese. Don't know where they all went I picked up some nice bits of driftwood and a golden retriever who couldn't understand why I didn't give it to him.
So, I have already done my Litha Workings
I changed my altar candles from light green to light blue.
I burned Dragons Blood Incense .
Candle spell.
Orange Candle blessed and dressed with Bergamot Oil.
Prayer to the Sun,
Blessed Lord, Thank you for your bounty on this, the longest day of the year.
Our plans and ideas are taking form.
Our crops and gardens are bearing fruit.
Our families are safe and healthy.

I meant to ask what Bergamot Oil is, ive never herd of it.

I think a (Sun) eclipse is coming soon, I need to check on that.

Bergamot is good for Success. It is an essential oil. From a flower I believe. I have about 4 different oils that I use. They are expensive because I use them straight out of the bottle. I could dilute them with olive oil and get the same effect, but that would be too Scottish of me! In other words, Cheap.
I will have to check out my diary for eclipses. When we get one here it is usually raining. But just cause you can't see it doesn't mean that we can't use it anyway.
I am working on fixing my mirrors, yesterday I wrote out six Sator Squares that I am going to fix to the back of my mirrors and did a banishing spell on any spirits lurking around. Taking advantage of the waning moon. I am reading up on the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram which I may also do on a recommendation from another witch who is into ceremonial magick. So much to do!

That sounds great actually.

I like the ceremonial magic, it seems to make me feel better, their are time I'm just lazy, but if it's really important I like all the pomp and circumstance!!
Now that ive lost my room (the one I had at my house) it's harder to do all that, but I do manage it this room when I need to, Mom goes to bed at six.

I does seem that I am busy all the time these days and it's not housework either.
I did find out about the Eclipse.. It is on August 7th 2017, on a Monday. It is the Corn Moon, it will happen at 2:21 pm EST and it is the Lammas cross quarter day. So we have a bit of time to plan our magick. I have a good article on doing magick at the Eclipse. I will have to make a separate post for it.
