I have a recipe for cornbread that calls for sour cream and cream corn, it’s the kind of bread you would want with just butter yummy.

I have been on a diet for so long, I have to wait for a Birthday to get some cake!

It is so hard to lose weight when hubby is convinced that I am trying to take TOO SMALL a portion of food (so he now brings me my plate already loaded up!) jimminies his version of a spoonful is WAYYY bigger than mine! Mine is a teaspoon his is a LADLE! LOL and he definitely is a good cook. He took a lot from his mom.... there again all the time the kids were growing up I was working evenings and if I didn't get dinner done before I left for work he did it as he came in. (We would just pass in the doorway) or driveway. I still think his perfect job would be a chuck wagon cook. All the kids in the neighborhood still talk about his breakfasts.

I had a big breakfast this morning and baked another Bundt cake this afternoon, seems I’m baking one every other day, Randy and Mom love them, I might get two slices

My Mom does me that way MM, she try’s to push food on me when she knows I’m trying to loose a few lbs. gets all butt hurt if I don’t eat!
Tomorrow I’m making her some SOS she loves that.

They made it in the army, it’s hamburger meat fried up with onions and then add brown gravy (and kitchen bouquet) that’s for flavor, then you pour that over mashed potatoes

I'm sure it tastes better than it sounds, it sounds a bit like Mince and tatties. Hamburger, onions, carrots and celery, gravy and mashed potatoes.

Taking a break from cleaning , again. Expecting my English cousin today, so just finished the bathroom and light headed from the Lysol.

So far so good, Sandy has the family tree sorted out, so more info coming. We got them drunk last night, so it is all good. The Sun is shining today so all are happy.

We are back to rain again today, but on the up side I don't have to water the garden. We are enjoying the peace and quiet.

That was one mom could make so well it and meringue (cow slobbers?) those are the 2 I cannot for the life of me make. She would buy these thin sliced meats in the tiny glass jar (SUPER TINY! like you get the spreadable cheeses in) and would lay these, then the gravy over bread or toast. Hubby of course since he was raised on chicken is not interested in this meal at all. He did tolerate the barbecue hotdogs, mac and cheese and peas for years before he finally spoke up about it. heck he should have said something. sniffs haughtily.

I knew I forgot to post it here! After all that spellwork right after 1st of year sometime in Jan 2020 got the entire money we had sent them BACK!!!!! Yes! (picture a bunny doing the arm jab thingie like the football guys do when they get a touch down) hahahahahaa I have been so sick kept forgetting to post it here~ of course Papa Bunny already had things to put it on but.. still...
