Smudge spray

Not certain if anyone knows I found I have a fire fear....
Not candles but other.....
So I do not smudge until I rid the fear....
Do not know which deity to appeal to....
And funny I am a fire sign....hahaha....
So I was looking at the many ways people make cleansing or "smudging" sprays.....
And while trying to figure which to try, I realized I had some tinctures which are kind of old, and may not have strong medicinal value...
But surely, I can either use them as they are or augment them for spraying in home.....
Just need spray bottles....
And the alcohol content should keep them ok....
I think it is crafty....
If I could only abracadabra my way out of clutter and into a move I will be great....

Some people put holey water in spray bottles.

Have some church holy water someplace....
Have some moon water...
The tinctures were for healing....
They likely have lost potency since they have been around for awhile....
I was going to research the herbs I put for healing to find their magickal properties and spray them as smudge spray.....
There are utube how to's on making smokeless smudge spray.....
The tinctures may work....
Also, when I buy oils from one shop, she makes up an oil for me to dilute and spray.....
She started doing that when the neighbors started calling me a voodoo witch and wicked.....(they don't know those are compliments, but the way they used them was not), for sprinkling garlic and powders outside....
Whe said spray my tires and looks like I am cleaning.....
Haven't done so in awhile.....
So rather that toss the tinctures, was going to put to use....
One which I had never used has tobacco and pumpkin seeds as the herbs....
I know in conjure, tobacco is often used in blowing cigar smoke, or making smoke sticks....
Looking up pumpkin. Seeds....
As a tincture it would of been an anti parisitic for the dogs....
Never used it....

It sounds very interesting! I have 3 or 4 old ones and several new ones. I need to decant oh wow shudders 5/ or so..they are at least 5 years old or more. but they are done with vodka so they should still be good right? I have Chickweed, Mullien (root and leaf), Honeysuckle, Elderberry, Dandelion, Forthysia ( I think it is called) gotta find notes on that one... winks and one more will have to come back and edit! Where is that bottle? AHHH Teasal Root!

My new ones are: Valerian, Paul De Arco, & Motherwort. The only one I really PLAN on using is the Motherwort but you never know!

Spring or River water, salt and sage leaves will make a good Smudge spray.

Thanks for all the suggestions....
I want to make some smudge water because walking around with a dish and lit herbs is a bit scarey for me...
The herb tinctures that I already now have though, are what I was thinking would work quite well. Since they are a couple of years old already, and perhaps the medicinal value of them is waned....
