Personally I like to use moonlight. Gentle but effective.

Moonlight is great...especially where sensitive stones are concerned.....
Someone said that organic rice is good for a bedding medium for sensitive crystals which may not do well with salt....
And I am smitten with selenite.....
Recharging crystals in moonlight with selenite seems a good idea....

I like Moonlight the best, my Altar is in a good possion for Moonlight. Selenite will cleanse and recharge other crystals, so it is a good one to keep in close proximity

I positively cringe when people tell me they use salt. And water too. Not all crystals like water and not all water is pure enough.

I believe someone here said to put in a bed of organic rice, or plain rice.....
Well, someone said so.....
Ok, I never heard that salt is very bad, theough it is quite harsh a substance even dry.....
Did not realize that until taking up selenite which can pretty much do anything and not withstand anything else....
But I think I was told that selenite is a salt based mineral which is why it is potent and also why it will dissolve in water and corrode in salt.....
So there, selenite sounds like salt at a higher vibration for safety to the other crystals.....
